HOW TO BUILD AND INSTALL A PEE SYSTEM ON THE WETSUIT

A DUCK BILLED SOLUTION

In recent years, manufacturers of wetsuits have been increasingly requested by their customers to apply  the so-called "duck-billed" pee system on the suits pants. It 'a very simple device for the expulsion of urine during dives that efficiently avoids any infection problem.

In fact, besides the bad smell and skin irritation, peeing into the wetsuit frequently causes infections of the ear canal. Several devices have been invented in order to prevent this to happen, including the use of the “uridol”, a kind of condom held in place by an adhesive or Velcro-like strip and ending with a tube that goes outside the suit through a small hole pierced in it. In my opinion the duckbill  system is the most practical and effective way to expel urine. If you consider how cumbersome the uridol installation on the penis can be and how unpleasant could be putting everything back in place if anything goes wrong (especially during the wintertime) when you are in the water since you are obliged to open the wetsuit and expose your body to water or air then you will understand how better the duck billed system is.

However many spearos still have pants that are not provided with this system and they keep them like that only to avoid sending the suit to a skilled craftsman. Here below is a video tutorial that explains how simple it is to properly build and apply one on the pants.
